Intel did an oopsie ... they posted the specs on a NUC (next unit of computing) desktop unit on their website. The NUC has DDR3L SO-DIMM slots, M.2 slots.
The new unit also has an mPCIe slot, an extra SATA 6 Gb/s port, and a cpu in the Core i3 and Core i5-5000 range. Anyway, the pages and specs are still online at intel, have a peek. It is likely that Intel will unveil the next-gen NUC in January 2015, at CES 2015.
