Intel has updated the NUC 12 with a 14-core Core i7-12700H processor and Arc A770M discrete GPU. Graphics have been upgraded from NVIDIA's RTX 2060 to Intel's own technology. The TGP for this Arc GPU is officially in the 120W to 150W range.

The replacement for Phantom Canyon will have an Intel Core i7-12700H processor with up to 14 cores and an Intel Arc A770M GPU. The previous model has a Core i7-1165G7 processor with four cores and NVIDIA RTX 2060 graphics.

Serpent Canyon has an i7-12700H CPU with 6 Performance cores and 8 Efficient cores for 14 cores and 20 threads. The CPU can go as fast as 4.7 GHz and has a 24 MB cache. This Alder Lake-H SKU (stock keeping unit) is a popular choice for gaming laptops.

The graphics have been upgraded from an RTX 2060 with 12GB of memory to an Arc A770M GPU with a full ACM-G10 CPU, 32 Xe-Cores, and 16GB of GDDR6 memory. This is Intel's Alchemist mobile series' top model. On the NUC 12, it's not clear how much power the A770M has, but the TGP for this Arc GPU is between 120W and 150W.
