Intel debuts Atom N470 CPU released
Not exactly a big launch apparantly. A message on Intel's PR blog reveals the company has introduced the Atom N470 processor.
Intel was pressured to launch its first update to the Pine Trail-based Atom early. The N470 brings the netbook-class chip back up to a 1.83GHz maximum speed without affecting the 5.5W power use key to Pine Trail's longer battery life. It shares the same 512KB of Level 2 cache and support for DDR2 memory.
