Intel Cuts SSD Prices

The SSD market is one of the most fascinating areas to follow right now. Not only do we get faster drives on a very regular basis, but prices are falling very rapidly also, due to the increased competition. Therefore, Intel decided to lower its prices for the M and E series even further:

As you can see in the table above, some price drops are quite considerable and are bringing SSDs a good step closer to the mainstream market. From close to $600 to $320 in just five months for the 80 GB X25-M is nothing short of impressive.
