Intel CPU with Vega Based GPU to be faster than GTX 1060 laptop

Intel is about to launch its new 8th-gen Core processor, with a couple of different products. The 8th-gen Core Mobile processor will become available in U, G, and H variants (mainstream, thin/light with discrete GPU, and highest performance).

This news would be under embargo until January 7, 2018 at 6:01 PM PDT, according to videocardz, the source of this info.

Apparently with dGPU. So this has dual graphics (intel's iGPU present).
I do not like intel's GPU. On other hand going to 65~100W zone.

AMD did not announce any Ryzens ending with "H" => Mobile Performance Class. I expected Vega 11 to be in that category.
HBM2 in notebook? OK, lovely, give it directly to APU.

Does “2.3X better” mean that it’s an improvement of 230%?
I ask because I can’t see Hitman being 1.4X better = 140%. I imagine it means 40% better?

Yes it means + 40% perf. If you see it says x1.4 and it means the competitors score times 1.4
