Intel Corporate Vice President and Chief Communications Officer Claire Dixon Resigns

Intel had hired Claire Dixon in June 2019 to lead corporate communications and events as director of communications and corporate vice president. The company mentions that his departure was for personal reasons .

In a statement, Intel said that “Since joining Intel in June 2019, Claire has been instrumental in driving a cohesive narrative among our key customers, corporate stakeholders, and employees, as well as in positioning Intel as a leading force with a positive global impact during the pandemic. We appreciate her valuable contributions and wish her the best for the future. "

From what we can read, Claire's departure from Intel appears to be amicable. When hired in June 2019, Intel CEO Bob Swan stated that "Claire is a world-class communications leader and team builder."

Dixon joined the ranks of Intel following her stint at VMware , where she was senior vice president and chief communications officer since 2017 . At VMware, Dixon served on the company's executive committee and was responsible for leading the global communications organization. Prior to VMware, Dixon spent four years as vice president of global communications at eBay , where she worked with Swan on creating PayPal. Dixon also held senior positions at GlaxoSmithKline and Unilever when he was in the UK.
