An engineer sample of Intel's forthcoming Raptor Lake Core i9-13900K has leaked on Geekbench. It's one of the ES samples that's been circulating recently, but this is the first time we've seen its performance.

Base speed of 3 GHz and boost clock of 5.5 GHz have previously been reported for these CPUs. 24-core, 32-thread CPU with ASUS ROG Maximus Z690 Extreme motherboard. Due to "a timing problem," the test results are invalid.  Because to the increased number of Efficient cores, the CPU now has 24 cores and 32 threads (since Efficient cores do not support Hyper Threading). Furthermore, the L3 cache of 36MB and the L1/L2 caches seem to be consistent with past Raptor Lake breaches. Because of the problem with timers on the system, the score of this new CPU should not be compared to any previous product. However, assuming that there is not a problem, the Core i9-13900K would be 7% faster in single-core and 37% faster in multi-core in the identical Geekbench 5 test than the Core i9-12900K based on official rankings.

Intel is predicted to release its new Raptor Lake desktop processors in October of this year.
