Intel Core i7 990X (3.46GHz) in Q1 2011
On the Xeon side of things there already is a counterpart, but for the consumer market it seems that Intel is slowly but steadily prepping a 32nm six-core Gulftown-based Core i7 990X processor which would be released in Q1 2011 according to FudZilla. This chip will be clocked at 3.46GHz and will feature a 3.73GHz Turbo Mode.
The TDP of this chip is 130W. Of course you can also flick the multiplier up with a Core i7 980X, but still, nice stuff.
