A week or so ago some etailers started selling Rocket Lake-S processors, despite them being under full embargo. It would only be a matter of time before some media would purchase one, and post a full review. This just happened, and this round Anandtech posted a full benchmark review of the Core i7-11700K (8c/16t).

Suffice to say this is a comprehensive review.  Two things can be noted, it's not as fast as expected, and the second, Power consumption and temperatures are going to be a challenge. AnandTech did not provide full details on the platform as some information is under NDA according to them. The author of the review, claims that only information that has already been shared by Intel and whatever could be deducted from testing has been mentioned in the review.

We're sure that the performance results of the processor fall under the embargo-through, launch reviews are planned for March 30th, none the less this will be a good overview of what you may expect. The test system features a GeForce RTX 2080 Ti graphic card and both the Core i7-11700K and Ryzen 9 5800X use DDR4-3200, but the i7-10700K and Core i9-9900KS were tested with DDR4-2933 and DDR4-2666 memory respectively. Anandtech did a clean comparison by comparing mainly against the Ryzen 7 5800X (8-cores). Have a peek at a selection of tests they performed:
