Intel Core i5-12600K outperforms AMD Ryzen 5 5600X in CPU-Z Benchmark by Huge Margin

A 3.7GHz base/clock for the Intel Core i5-12600K with 6 high perf cores is expected to be accompanied by 4 high-efficiency cores. Recent leaks show the processor achieving 746 and 7058 marks in single-threaded and multi-threaded tests when running stock on Windows 11. 



These cores can boost to 4.9 GHz and 3.6 GHz with Turbo Max Boost 3.0. On Windows 10, the processor achieved 796 and 7058 points. These results easily outperform the Ryzen 5 5600X by 20% and 45% in single-threaded and multi-threaded testing, respectively. We don't know where Intel will place the Core i5-12600K in the market, therefore we can't judge its value until it is released.

While the Core i5-12600MSRP K's is unknown, the Core i7-12700K and Core i9-12900K have been priced at 469.99 USD and 669.99 USD, respectively. The Alder Lake desktop CPUs are planned to be announced on October 27th, with wide availability on November 4th.
