The Intel Core i5-12400F CPU makes its way to the Peruvian market a few weeks before it is officially launched, and it is available for purchase for roughly 225 USD.

While the product has not yet been officially announced, the entry-level motherboards are expected to make their debut in the near future. The Intel Core i5-12400F processor will be the most affordable high-performance option with Intel's new architecture and the LGA 1700 socket. It will not include the efficiency cores (Gracemont cores), but it will be a strong competitor to the AMD Ryzen 5 5600X processor and the AMD Ryzen 5 5600G processor, both of which are currently available (used by some DIY assemblers by pairing it with a dedicated video card). One aspect that remains to be seen is the ultimate pricing of the cheaper H610 and B660 mobos, as well as whether or not they are truly worth the reduced price of the chipsets in question.

We will begin testing with a retail chip that is no longer subject to NDA by Intel, and we expect results to be available very soon after that.
