Intel Core 9x00 Processor Prices Listed at Singapore Distributor
We've seen some early price leaks on the Core i5 and i7 9000 series processors a couple of times already, however things are starting to solidify a bit more as distributor BizGram in Singapore is listing the new procs in a flyer.
Now a couple of things first, the prices that you see listed are from Singapore, that means these are listed at SGD, we'll need to convert that. Next, to that, this is a distributor, who sells their stuff to retailers, e.g. Now I can only assume that local VAT needs to be added to the prices:
That said, here we go converted to USD.
- Core i3-9350K is listed at 252 SGD = $189.99
- Core i5-9600K is listed at 370 SGD = $269.99
- Core i7-9700K listed at 518 SGD= $379.99
- Core i9-9900K listed at 666 SGD = $479.99.
Also, interesting to see is the 9350K. The snapshot also once again confirms cores and threads.

Vega 64 Red Devil and Nitro+ have factory set clock to 1630. However without downvolting this speed is never achieved. The card depending thermal will work at around 1480-1540.
By spending 3 minutes reducing the GPU P6 & P7 voltage by 170mv (-12%) without touching the clocks, the performance jumps quite a lot alongside the clocks. (no overclocking). If you set P7 from 1630 to 1655, the card jumps speed to 1620s (not even factory clocks) while operating almost similarly to a GTX1080 @ 2164 - 2190 overclock.
And all these at 270-280W. Nowhere near the 330-370W Guru3d has on their review.....
I know it since I used to have Fury X. VBIOS: Undervolting and for fringe scenarios bumping all power limits. W/o any OC I had higher performance than many reviewers with OC.
Most tragic reviewers had actually same or lower performance than they had at stock clock.
But it still does not change fact, that it is AMD's responsibility to set those voltages. And good reviewers will deliver result for power states which you get upon buying that cards.

Watch the vid again, HT off is clearly better. Also, this test is done at same clocks. HT off generally allows for higher clocks because of lower temps (more headroom). HT OFF + 200 MHz on all cores and we're talking +10% overall.
Ryzen with SMT off performs better in games too. This is nothing new.
HT/SMT only helps when there's too few physical cores. Helps alot on i3 for example. Also older i7 quads, in a few games. In most games 4 cores is still enough. 6 cores is enough for everything.
i7-9700K is going to be an awesome gaming chip. High fps gamers will have no reason at all to even consider the i9-9900K, unless they plan to use it for the next 10 years.
So, do you run your CPU with HT OFF?

Thanks for the laugh guys. Almost made me spill my coffee.

No, because it's a quad core and I'm playing BF1 and BF5 right now.
