Intel Meteor Lake is the codename for Intel's upcoming 14th-generation Core processors, expected to be released in the latter half of this year. 

The 14th-generation processor is expected to deliver up to 50% better performance-per-watt at the same specs, thanks to its innovative architecture which combines multiple chiplets using Intel's stacking/packaging technique. Meteor Lake promises to offer significant upgrades in performance and efficiency compared to its predecessor, Raptor Lake. The tiled-GPU architecture and Xe GPU cores are expected to improve GPU performance. The processor consists of four main tiles, including the IO Tile, the SOC Tile, GFX Tile, and the Compute Tile, with the Compute Tile combining the CPU Tile and GFX Tile.

The CPU Tile uses a hybrid core design of Redwood Cove P-cores and Crestmont E-cores, aimed at delivering a 1.5x+ efficiency increase compared to Raptor lake. Meteor Lake will bring support for new instruction sets, increased core and thread counts, and an advanced security feature set to enhance the overall computing experience. Intel's Meteor Lake processors are expected to be available in the latter half of this year, promising to bring a significant upgrade in performance and efficiency to users.
