Intel Arc High Performance Graphics Gameplay Video

Intel has started teasing Xe GPUs gameplay. They'r excited to share a first look at gameplay captured on Pre-production Silicon Featuring gameplay from Mount & Blade II Bannerlord, Forza Horizon 4, Psychonauts 2, Player Unknown Battlegrounds, Subnautica Below Zero, Metro Exodus, Rift Breaker, Days Gone, Chivalry II, Crysis Remastered Trilogy.

Intel has launched a new brand for its consumer-oriented high-performance graphics devices. Intel Arc will include hardware, software, and services geared at this market sector. According to our sources, the first generation Intel Arc processors will be code-named Alchemist. They will be based on the Xe-HPG architecture (formerly known as DG2). Additionally, Alchemist will be succeeded by generations named Battlemage, Celestial, and Druid.

Additionally, the company is developing an AI-accelerated supersampling technology to compete with NVIDIA DLSS and AMD FSR.

Intel Graphics released an enticing video showing AAA gameplay recreated on an Intel Arc graphics processor. We're shown titles such as "Metro Exodus," "Rift Breaker," "Crysis Remastered," and "Forza Horizon 4," all rendered on 2560x1440 and boasting visuals that match any modern performance-segment GPU from NVIDIA or AMD.

According to Intel, "Alchemist products will be available in the first quarter of 2022." This entails delivering goods to customers. Hopefully, between now and then, we'll get more teases and glimpses of what to anticipate.

This video is pointless - it doesn't display any actual data.
At the very least I would be interested in some form of statistics - what resolution and at least expected FPS.
I think it's basically there to say we have silicon and some drivers that work well enough to run some games. As for how fast those cards are, well I suspect a lot more driver work is needed first.

Imagine a world with plentiful semiconductor fabs, a glut in chips, no crypto and 3 major discrete GPU makers in fierce competition with one another.
