Intel adds three CPUs (silently) to lineup
Apparently Intel has added three LGA775 processors to its lineup.
- Priced at $183 you will spot the Q9500, a quad-core processor with its clock frequency at 2.83 GHz - 6MB L2 cache, and a 1333 MHz FSB.
- Then we enter the good old Pentium range, shifted from Core 2 towards Pentium is now the E6600 dual-core costs with a price tag of $84. The processor is clocked at 3.06 GHz has 2MB L2 cache and comes with a 1066 MHz FSB
- The last new entry is in fact a Celeron, the E3400 (dual-core) comes clocked at 2.60 GHz has a 1MB L2 cache, the good old-fashioned 800 MHz FSB and a price tag of $53.
Next to the new processors Intel lowered prices on the E6500 to $74 (was $84), the E5400 to $64 (was $74) and E3300 to $43 (was $53). Well, you are up-to-date again ;)
