Intel has added a new 9th generation Core "Coffee Lake Refresh processors to its lineup, there will be six new SKUs. A new model is the Core i5 9400, a six-core part. The proc does not have any hyper-threading.
The 9400 will thus be 6c:6t running at a 2.90 GHz base and 4.10 GHz Turbo Boost, (it has 9 MB of shared L3 cache). Intel now also is launching the KF and F models, these do not have an IGP, or better yet have a disabled IGP. SKUs here are the Core i3-9350KF, Core i5-9600KF, Core i7-9700KF, and Core i9-9900KF.
Summed up this is:
- 8 core / 16 threads "Core i9-9900 KF" (3.6 GHz / maximum 5.0 GHz / shared smart cache 16 MB / TDP 95 W).
- Then 8 core / 8 thread "Core i 7 - 9700 KF" (3.6 GHz / Core i5-9600 KF " (3.7 GHz / maximum 4.6 GHz / shared smart cache 9 MB / TDP 95 W) 6 cores / 6 threads.
- The 6 core / 6 threads " Core i 5 -9400 " (2.9 GHz / maximum 4.1 GHz / UHD Graphics 630 / sharing smart cache 9MB / TDP65W)
- The 6 core / 6 thread " core I5-9400F " (2.9 GHz / maximum 4.1 GHz / shared smart cache 9MB / TDP65W)
- And 4 cores / 4 threads "Core i3-9350 KF" (4.0 GHz / maximum 4.6 GHz / shared smart cache 8 MB / TDP 91 W) totaling six products.
