A Chinese website claims to know when Intel will announce their Series 500 chipset based motherboards. Intel 500 series motherboard chipsets will include Z590, B560 The H510 series models are determined to be released on January 11, 2021.

According to the sources, these three models would be announced simultaneously on January 11. However, according to the news, the 11th generation CPU may not be announced just yet, that would be at the end of February or early March. The 11th generation and 10th generation procs have the same pins, that is, the 500 series motherboards are backward compatible with the 10th generation CPU. January 11th also is the day that Intel's  CES 2021 event is assumed to commence. The new chipsets would offer PCIe 4.0.  

Rocket Lake processors use Socket LGA 1200. Why Intel wants to pre-release the motherboards is not clear. The company announced two presentations will take place at the CES 2021. It is quite possible that the chip designer wants to unveil his new generation of CPUs together with the accompanying motherboards.
