Iiyama ProLite X3291HS is a 31.5-Inch Full HD Monitor With Blue Light Reduction

Man .. almost 32 inches at 1080P ? I guess you would be able to count pixels. The ‘ProLite X3291HS’ adoptsan 31.5-inch AH-IPS flicker-free LED-backlight monitor supports a native resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and provides 1000:1 contrast ratio (12 million:1 ACR), 250 cd/m2 brightness, 5ms (GTG) response time and 89/89 degree viewing angles.

The ProLite X3291HS is also built with stereo speakers (3Wx2) and provides 1x D-Sub, 1x DVI-D and 1x HDMI input ports. Measuring W737.5mm x D240mm x H523.5mm and weighing 7kg (including stand), the ProLite X3291HS is available now for 39,800 Yen (about $323).

New made on the matrix AH-IPS. The resolution is 1920 × 1080 pixels, which corresponds to the format Full HD. Response time – 5 ms. The panel has a brightness of 250 cd / m 2 , contrast – 1000: 1 (dynamic contrast ratio reaches 12 000 000: 1). The viewing angles horizontally and vertically up to 178 degrees.

Technology Blue Light Reducer reduces the intensity of the blue backlighting. This reduces the load on the visual apparatus and reduces eye fatigue. In addition, the panel can boast no flicker. To connect the signal sources are provided analog connector D-Sub, digital DVI and HDMI. There are 3-watt stereo speakers. Dimensions are 737,5 × 240 × 523,5 mm, weight – 7 kg.

I'd quite like one of these..the visual impact of a '32 screen more than makes up for the 1080p resolution, and besides you can just run it @1440p or 4K via DSR these days.

Problem would be the dot pitch I think, super sampling can´t change that.

I can already see pixels on my 24" HDTV @1080.

I bet on this Monitor the pixels will be so easy for our eyes to see especially if the DPI is low like 96DPI, unless you play at a distance.

I think most of us like the Monitor/HDTV pretty close to our face.

If this had 10-bit color (doesn't look it has it), it'd actually be very nice for medium-distance gaming and theater purposes (using media that supports it).

5 ms GTG isn't so great (I'm guessing closer to 12 ms in real-world use), but the viewing angles are perfect for watching movies.

DSR will reduce aliasing and cannot come close to making up for a lower resolution. At that size 1440p and 4K would look quite a lot better.
