iiyama ProLite E2282HS 21.5-Inch Full HD Monitor

It would be nice if instead of making faster and more power hungry CPU's/GPU's for these mobile devices, they invested some of their R&D money into better battery technology. Fast phones are great but it sucks when you have to charge it 3 times a day.

They can't. It isn't their battery thus they don't own patent. And you know what happens when patents are in guestion....

Nivida Tegra 4 would be even better due single core which is responsible for preserving battery life. Yes, its quad core with 72 cuda cores, but when it's idle and not in use, the single core takes over - I forgot what it's called.

the ARM7v when in idle are too deconnected... they dont run.. each core can be loaded separately or idle separately. ( when a big power is needed, then the ARM A15 kick in )

The autonomy in idle is not a problem, its the autonomy when doing little task.

If you use a smartphone only for call, and the rest of time it is in idle, you will get an autonomy of 3-4 days. its for games, video recording, decoding/encoding, video playing etc, the autonomy is going down,
