Iiyama FreeSync ready ProLite GB2488HSU-2 released

Yet another 1080P screen has been released by iiyama, the ProLite GB2488HSU-2. Adopting the AMD FreeSync technology to eliminate tearing, stuttering and input lag, this new 24-inch TN LED-backlight monitor supports a native resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and provides 144Hz refresh rate for smooth gaming.

The screen has a 1000:1 contrast ratio (12 million:1 ACR), 350 cd/m2 brightness, 1ms response time and 85/80 degree viewing angles.

Equipped with built-in stereo speakers (3Wx2), the ProLite GB2488HSU-2 provides 1x DVI-D, 1x DisplayPort, 2x HDMI and USB 3.0 Hub (1x up, 2x down). The iiyama ProLite GB2488HSU-2 is available now for 41,800 Yen (about $356).

Would have been nice if it was IPS at that price but good luck with that not tripling the cost as not everyone can afford 7~9 hundred bucks for a 24" monitor I know I'd be happy to upgrade my old Alienware OptX AW2210 for this
