id Software discusses Ryzen (video)
Hear from id Software’s CTO, Robert Duffy, on how DOOM runs on AMD Ryzen and what their plans and expectations are for the new CPU. The current idTech 6 works very well at taking advantage of multiple threads already.
Duffy did mention that their new engine, presumably idTech 7 would be even more robust. Hear from id Software’s CTO, Robert Duffy, on how DOOM runs on AMD Ryzen and what their plans and expectations are for the new CPU.

ryzen ram
HI GUYS I WANT TO BUILD A SYSTEM WITH RYZEN CPU'S 1700X OR 1700
WITH 32 GB RAM (AS MY WORK LOAD I NEED 32 GB) AND WHERE I LIVE THERE ISN'T MUCH CHOISE SO I FOUND GSKILL RIPJAW 32 GB (16X2) 3200 MHZ (F4-3200C16D-32GVK) SO AS I CHECK ASUS ROG CROSSHAIR VI HERO OR GIGABYTE GA-AX370-Gaming-5 DOESN'T SUPPORT THEM ON QVL SO SHOULD I BUY THEM OR NOT ? MY MAIN QUESTION IS ?
if i buy these ram (F4-3200C16D-32GVK) does ASUS ROG CROSSHAIR VI HERO or GA-AX370-GAMING5 gonna support full 32 gb of ram (16x2) ?
2-if it's gonna support it in which ferequancy it's gonna run with ryzen curent RAM problems ?
i'm not gonna buy other parts like mobo or cpu until 15TH OR 25TH of may just want to buy rams in good price right now and as price of ram goes high i don't want to waste my money , i want to know if there isn't a problem i'll buy it now , because if there is a problem with rams i'm not gonna know until i buy all parts
thank you for you time
THE PARTS I PERFER :
MOTHERBOARD : ASUS ROG CROSSHAIR VI HERO
CPU: RYZEN 1700X
RAM: 32 GB 16X2 3200 MHZ
HDD: SEAGATE 2TB 7200 RPM
POWER : 1050 W
gpu : 1060 6GB

"RHA RHO SHAGGY.....!!" I'm lovin' what I'm hearing from these guys.... I mean it is one developer, but this is something in the right direction regarding Ryzens future performance and optimization.
Looking more and more like a Ryzen system build looming in the immediate horizon.... Especially if Intel can not get their pricing right for their newest HEDT platform. Really all I care about is the HEDT from both as that will allow for the least amount of upgrades in the nearest future. IMO..... Especially when it comes to cpu/threads for potential future exploitation.
Can not wait to see what Intel truly does to counteract AMD and their fresh line of hardware. And what AMD has in store for its true HEDT platform.....I'm friggin stoked about that SHTUFF!!!!!!
