Hurricane Sandy Network Outages Visualized

This is an interesting little video. Hurricane Sandy came ashore pummeling the east coast of the United States with high winds and torrential rains. The super storm caused major power and Internet outages in a region that is home to more than 60 million people. Unsurprisingly and unfortunately, the impacts on Internet connectivity have been severe.

5 days and counting no power in fact in my town 4500+ lost power and since the outage only about 480 got power back, atlest we didnt flood which is what we expected seeing live in a flood zone.

they were not prepared for katrina they where not prepared for this good thing it was only a cat 1 or it would of been way worse
