Hunt: Showdown - First Gameplay Video

Developer Crytek has released the first gameplay footage for its upcoming PvP monster hunter game: Hunt: Showdown. The new footage features the game’s Creative Director Magnus Larbrant and Level Design Director Chris Auty as they hunt down a monstrous spider in a dark Louisiana swamp.

With four other teams of two also chasing after the same bounty — not to mention many more monsters constantly lurking — the two deploy a combination of stealth and violence to get the bounty. In development for PC (console versions are being considered), it’s currently unclear when Hunt: Showdown will release.  n this tense match-based first-person PvP monster hunter from the makers of Crysis, you will face off against unearthly horrors in the forgotten corners of the world. You will hunt, and you will die. But without risk, there can be no reward, and when the water runs with blood, you’d better hope it’s not your own.
