HTC One overclocking with LN2
In the category totally useless HKEPC decided to give LN2 cooling a try on a smartphone. The site used liquid nitrogen to overclock the HTC One to 1.72Gz and achieved a score of 11585 in the 3DMark Ice Storm benchmark, whereas a regular HTC One scores around 10,000 on the same benchmark. HKEPC notes on its Facebook page that it's waiting for an extreme overclocking ROM to boost the score even more.
So just what were they able to achieve with the super-cooled and overclocked device? 11585 in the 3DMark Ice Storm benchmark. A normal HTC One receives about 10,000 marks on the same benchmark, so we see about a 10 percent improvement in score. However, it's not very practical to be walking down the street with an LN2-cooled phone. You wouldn't be able to touch the device because of its temperature.

I score higher than average
I've had a HTC One since launch and I have ran the benchmark a few times since its release and I average 11245. My score never goes below 11000. Where did they get the 10000 points average score from. It seems too low. Shouldn't the average be more like 11000?

They overclocked 20 mhz with LN? S4 already does 1.9, guess Samsung got all the good chips.
