HTC recently unveiled the "VIVE Pro 2 Lite Set," a cost-effective head-mounted display kit, which supports 5K/120Hz functionality. The kit is now accessible for purchase at a market-estimated price of approximately $1129,-

The "VIVE Pro 2 Lite Set" is a more streamlined option compared to the full "VIVE Pro 2 set". It accommodates up to two base stations, restricts the play area to a 3.5m x 3.5m space, and involves a fixed base station setup. Notably, this kit is sold as a standalone item, and the extended warranty applies exclusively to the head-mounted display.

Despite these adjustments, the head-mounted display doesn't compromise on its high-performance features. It proudly offers a resolution of 2,448 x 2,448 pixels per eye (or 4,896 x 2,448 pixels overall), a 90/120 Hz refresh rate, a 120° field of view, and a suite of various sensors, including a G-sensor, gyroscope, proximity sensor, IPD sensor, and SteamVR Tracking V2.0.

The "VIVE Pro 2 Lite Set" package comes with the head-mounted display, two VIVE Base Station 1.0 units, and two VIVE Controller 1.0 units (straps included).
