HP Spectre 32in Studio Display has 4k VA Panel

HP has launches the Spectre, a 32 inch 4k VA Panel based Studio Display and comes with Right and Left 6 Watt speakers with DTS Audio.

In its "Blizzard White" design it kinf of sits inbetween a desktop display and a TV. The VA panel with 3840 x 2160 Ultra HD resolution offers a 3000:1 static contrast ratio and comes with DisplayPort, MHL, HDMI 2.0 and HDMI 1.4 connections. HP Spectre 32 Studio Display is going to cost 1199 Euro apparently.

Spectre, now where did I hear that name before ?

Since it looks like I will never get Oled monitor these VA panels are starting to get my attention lately. They have much better Contrast ration than ips. Philips BDM4065UC at tftcentral had 4845:1 measured. Too bad its too slow monitor or else I would had got it for 750e.

That's a typo. If you look at any other literature about this monitor, they all state 3840x1260

Why would someone buy that expensive monitor and use built in crappy speakers? I dont see the point of those.
