HIS Radeon HD 7970 X2 video card
HIS showed off its brand new AMD Radeon HD 7970 X2 video card reports tweaktown. The graphics card comes with a new design cooler called IceQ X2 cooler that will have to pull a trick or two to deal with the two onboard GPUs. The cooler is big alright, it will eat away three card slots but obviously it will return a heap of gaming performance alright.
If you browse through the photo's then you'll spot a a total of three 8-pin power connectors. So the PCIE slot delivers 75 Watt and then the three 8-pin connectors each can deliver 150 Watt, yep that's 525 Watt available to feed the card.
On the conectivity O side of things there you'll spot four mini DisplayPort connectors and a DVI connector.
