HighPoint unveiled the SSD 6200 series extension card, which features an M.2 port on the board and can create a RAID environment with NVMe M.2 SSD.

The product series has two variants, a 2-slot "SSD6202" and a 4-slot "SSD6204", both of which have a "OOB (out-of-band) RAID Administration" capability that allows RAID management without the use of an operating system. " SSD6202A / SSD6204A " is ready.

  • The 2-slot model bus interface supports PCI-Express3.0 (x8), the SSD form factor supports M.2 2242/2260/2280, and cooling is provided by a heat sink with a fan. It also has a low-profile bracket.
  • The 4-slot model bus interface supports PCI-Express3.0 (x8), the SSD form factor supports M.2 2242/2260/2280/22110, and cooling is provided by a fanless heat sink.

Both RAID levels enable RAID 0/1 / JBOD and can be used as an operating system boot disk. Windows 11/10, Windows Server 2022/2019/2016, Microsoft Hyper-V, Linux (Kernel v3.10 or later), VMware, Proxmox, and XenServer are all supported operating systems.
