HighPoint adds SSD 6204 RAID controller that can hold four NVMe M.2 SSDs

There will be two models available, two new RAID models available, one full height, the other low profile to be used in servers. The cards are based on a PCIe Gen 3.0 x8 connector.  



The RAID card with PCI-Express3.0 (x8) connection can mount four NVMe M.2 SSDs. The RAID level supports 0/1 / JBOD and can be switched with a DIP switch. The feature is that it can be installed relatively easily because there is no need to install a separate driver or set it with a utility. Cooling is a large fanless heat sink that covers the entire board, and the SSD form factor is compatible with M.2 2242/2260/2280. It can also be used as a boot drive on Windows and Linux. The main body size is 195 mm in length, 111 mm in width, 18.5 mm in thickness, and 599 g in weight. The product warranty is 2 years.

SSD6202
The "SSD 6202" released at the same time is a low profile compatible model with only two M.2 slots. Cooling is a heatsink with a fan, which also supports the SSD form factor M.2 2242/2260/2280.
