Thats the whole point, you only see the benefit of DDR5 when you go high, we are not there yet, it has to go faster, but at least we can see that it helps
overclockers has XPG Lancer review and FarCry 6 gained 5-6fps from OC to 5600
F1 gained 4fps from 4800 to 5600
The AIDA RAM speed benchmarks show fast read, write and copy, yeah its just numbers but its faster
At what resolution?
I can not find the resolution written anywhere on overclockers.
F1 at 1080p is already in the 280fps range, so 4 fps is less then 2% difference and a 240 hz screen is needed to even see any difference at all.
1440p is in the 240fps range too so still less then 2% and 240 hz screen still needed to see any difference.
4k everything between a Ryzen 5600x and 12900k has the same performance, GPU limited with a 3090.
These numbers are from Guru3d 12900k review.
