Guru3D Rig of the Year 2009

Guru3D Rig of the Year 2009

Out of all the collected entries, each month here at Guru3D.com we select a user submitted rig of the month. This year we started with some sponsoring with a little help from OCZ to make this segment of the website a little more interesting. Each rig of the month will receive a prize starting December 2009, but we just decided on what out of the 2009 entries we here at Guru3D.com feel is the rig of the year.

First off, I like to thank each and everyone who submitted their rig in this contest. The voting system we initially used was showing a discrepancy, as such we decided to judge ourselves.

The winner of the Rig of the Year will receive a spanking new shiny 120GB OCZ Vertex Solid State Disk shipped to the winners home address for free.

The OCZ Vertex Series delivers the performance and reliability of SSDs at a lower price per gigabyte than other high speed offerings currently on the market. The OCZ Vertex Series is the result of all the latest breakthroughs in SSD technology, including the first model on the market to use the Indilinx Barefoot controller, blazing read/write speeds, and 64MB of onboard cache (read our review).

Without further ado -- the winner of the 2009 Rig of the year is Mark Doney - with the March 2009 Rig of the Month entry. Congratulations mark. Check out Mark's rig here.
