Guru3D 2019 December 4th contest: Win a Fractal Design Case, PSU and Cooler

Guru3D 2019 December 4th contest: Win a Fractal Design Case, PSU and Cooler

Oh hey there! Yes, it is December and you know what that means, today we teamed up with Fractal design and will be giving away a prize package consisting of a Fractal Design Vector Case, ION 860W power supply and Celsius S36 liquid cooler worth over 450 EUR/USD.

In December each workday we gave away nice prizes. We have anywhere from three to six competitions each and every week until we hit the year 2020. So yes it is time to give a little back to the Guru3D community, our way of showing you some respect for not using an ad-blocker on this website. December will be loaded and packed with competitions!

Thank you for listening to us

Every year during the Christmas season we give away cool stuff, this year once again are expanding as a thank you to everybody that disabled their ad-blocker. This is our way of expressing our respect for you to disable that ad-blocker on Guru3D.com

Win a Fractal Design Vector RS chassis, ION 860W PSU and Celsius S36 liquid cooler

“Sharp angles, uncompromising design, and a no-nonsense attitude combine to create a case quite unlike any built before it. An expressive ARGB strip wraps the front and top in a synchronized, continuous run, customizable via your RGB motherboard or via the included Adjust R1 controller. The counter-angled air intakes are designed to trap noise without restricting airflow, giving you a case that breathes like it’s open – but sounds like it’s closed. But looks only go so far. What about the inside? Storage is a non-issue – with eleven HDD and four SSD positions (six + two brackets included), the Vector RS is ready to take on any build you want to throw at it. An intelligent modular layout adapts to maximize airflow, water-cooling, and component headroom to realize every ounce of potential in your build. The TG top panel easily swaps with the included ventilated steel cooling bracket to shift Vector’s affinity from ultimate display piece to performance powerhouse with nine total fan positions. With customizable effects, adaptable layout, and interchangeable elements, Vector becomes what you want it to be: The perfect showcase for your system.”

Features that make this product stand out from the crowd to include its size, because it’s only 150 mm long (even the 860 W variant), and Fractal Design’s UltraFlex™ DC cabling. An extremely high strand count with specially formulated insulation made it possible to reduce the wires to just 0.08 mm in diameter – half the thickness of competitor products – without losing efficiency or current capacity. The UltraFlex™ cable bends and twists effortlessly, eliminating the inherent hassles of traditional rigid power supply wiring to make installation and cable-routing a breeze.

The Celsius S36 is an all-in-one liquid cooling solution for desktop PCs and is available in 240mm and 360 versions. The 360 kit that we tested is a self-contained (AIO) CPU cooling unit based on liquid cooling. It does not require much setup installation. With a pump and radiator shipped pressure tested, it is pre-filled and sealed directly from the factory to provide maintenance-free operation for years. This ease of use extends to its support of the latest Intel and AMD sockets; including the latest Intel LGA 1155/1156/2011 and AMD FM2 sockets as well as AM4 for Ryzen. The series is equipped with a high-density water micro channel and copper finish block to offer efficient thermal conduction along with a proper radiator to maximize cooling performance.

Guru3D will collect all submitted results. Say we have 1000 proper results then we select these and sort them in chronological order. Then we draw a random number between 1 and 1000. That number will correspond to the entry sorted chronologically. The winner will get the product(s) shipped to you for free (worldwide).

  • This contest ends on the 6th of December 2019 - 10:00 Central European Time (CEST) / 9:00 am GMT
  • Just one entry per person is allowed.
  • This competition is global and not bound by any region.
  • Yes, your answers need to be right!
  • The data you enter is used solely for the competition, that's it. We do not use or share the data otherwise. Afterward, it's simply deleted again.

The winners will be emailed in week 1 of 2020, and announced on the Guru3D.com FrontPage. There will be no dialog about this contest possible before and after closure.

FAIL guru3d : the link to the report with the actual figure of the efficiency in the PSU test is not working......so how are we to know the right answer ?
The only thing we know is minimum spec for the platinum plus certification.
