With the pending release of the Radeon 6800 series tonight NVIDIA seems to be preparing a price reduction on their GTX 460 and 470 series graphics cards.

Eexact figures are not yet known yet one thing is sure, the R6800 series definitely will be faster than the GTX 460 models. Looking at prices right now we can already spot price drops being effective, if we have a quick peek at the cheapest models:

• GeForce GTX 460 768MB costs 145 EUR / $169.99
• GeForce GTX 460 1024MB costs 175 EUR / $219.99 
• GeForce GTX 470 1280MB 199 EUR / $279.99

Now we expect another price drop on top of that, which is exciting for sure.
