GTA5 Vice City Remastered vs GTA: Vice City comparo

by Hilbert Hagedoorn on: 01/16/2020 07:17 AM | source: | 9 comment(s)

A couple of days ago, Candyland released a comparison video between the original game and the mod. This video shows how impressive and faithful the mod is, so be sure to watch it. This DLC-sized mod features MLO interiors, bump mapped roads and various buildings, as well as 3D neon models. It also comes with spec mapped windows for proper reflections, brand new models and textures and working traffic lights.

Looks worse
I can see what the creator is trying to do but it needs a lot more work to come even close.

The atmosphere is missing, the neon glow on the streets etc, the mod just looks pasty. Needs a lot of work on the lighting etc to get the vice city feel

My kids have been playing this for about a week now, it’s their new current mod. As someone mentioned above, my game appears to look better than this. I also think that the atmosphere needs more neon glow. It’s a good start, but without more neon glow, the atmosphere just isn’t right
