After buying GTA 4 for PC and not finishing the game because it always crashed in a certain part in a certain mission, i think i´m gonna pass on GTA 5 for PC...

Even worse, i´ve spent 2 weeks sending emails to Rockstar support about this problem only to be told that the problem was that the game wasn´t supported on Windows 7!...

**** you Rockstar!!!

I've never had a problem with GTA4 + Episodes, and my PC is inferior to yours. Could be more than just the game.

I´ve no idea what the problem was, the only thing i know was that the game always crashed in a mission where we have to tag along with some gangsters, drive to a certain location and then kill everybody and escape into the water to catch a boat, the problem was that the game always crashed a few seconds after i´ve entered the water and Rockstar support couldn´t give me a solution...
So i never got past that part...

Agreed. GTA4 ran just great on my rig (prior to this rig) and wasn't the slightest bit high-end.

^ For me, stock GTA 4 ran like horse $hit. It was only after several patches did the game run like butter. :)

I am curious to see how well GTA 5 looks on PC because I saw the PS3 version and it looked great.
