Up-to April 1st (not a joke) – in anticipation of Half Life: Alyx, the upcoming virtual reality first-person shooter you can download and play all Half-Life games.

Once the 2 months are done you will no longer be able to play them, so enjoy them while you can. These titles will be available for free until April 1st 2020. If you already have Steam installed, you can click the following links to start playing now.

Half-Life: Alyx is set before the events of Half-Life 2 and the episodes, but the games share characters and story elements.

Reading your comment made go go ohh I wonder if Valve has started selling the index yet in Australia.. and... nope... this is what I see through Steam.

It's sold out in every region regardless and Valve's wording on stock makes it sound like they won't even have more prior to release of the game.

They either ran into a production issue or completely underestimated demand.
