GPU Sales went up 39 percent in 2020

According to analysts at Jon Peddie Research, the GPU market, which includes chips from AMD, Intel, and Nvidia, reached 119 million units sold in the first quarter of 2021.
A notable forecast is that the share of discrete GPUs is expected to grow between 2020 and 2025. The CPU market also appears to be growing with a 39 percent year-over-year increase in unit sales. Asus, MSI, Gigabyte, and other board partners saw a seven percent increase between Q4 2020 and Q1 2021.
