Goodram has introduced a new value SSD series called the PX500. The M2 units use the NVME protocol over a PCIe 3.0 connection, it is available in three-volume sizes: 256 GB, 512 GB, and 1024 GB.

The fastest version can read and write sequentially at 2,050 MB/s and 1,650 MB/s, respectively, and has random read and write performance of 240,000 and 280,000 iops, respectively. The smallest version of 256 GB goes up to 1,850 MB/s and 950 MB/s for sequential read and write, and can handle up to 102,000 iops for reading and 230,000 iops for writing. It is not clear exactly which nand memory is used. The SSDS are managed by a Silicon Motion SMI 2263XT controller.

Prices are TBA, but these should be proper value products. You do get a three-year warranty with them.
