Quite a number you have already seen at our Computex coverage, but the official product photos are on the web of the new LGA 1151 socket based boards that will support Intel’s 6th generation Skylake processors to eb released the 5th August 2015. Gigabyte has a lot of Z170 motherboards These include the Gigabyte GA-Z170X Gaming G1, GA-Z170X Gaming 7, GA-Z170X Gaming 5 and the GA-Z170X Gaming 3 motherboards.
There's also a GA-Z170X-UD5 TH and GA-Z170X-UD3. Anyway, lots of photos, have a peek.

Looks more like an Asrock if you ask me. Specifically Z68 Extreme3 gen3 which I own.
But admittedly Asrock have gone towards blue lately.
The "black & gold" edition looks like an Asus to me

If the preamp is decent it could make a difference in recording. I doubt there will be a big difference in audio playback.
Looks like their 2 top tier mbs have soundblaster z integrated in them. Wonder how they would compare to a normal one.

admittedly , it is a nice looking motherboard. However , I have divorced Gigabyte a decade ago in favor to Asus. ( msi can be that thing that I like to ride , but don't dare )
