That's all cores. Gigabyte will be releasing a 'Premium Edition' bundle of the Z390 Aorus Xtreme Waterforce 5G paired with a binned Core i9-9900K. Gigabyte guarantees a clock speed of 5.1 GHz.

The processors, in cooperation with Intel, are pre-tested (binned) so that this clock speed remains stable on all cores. Engineers have already stress tested these motherboards at higher loads compared to that of standard configurations to ensure the reliability of these boards so that users can enjoy all cores at 5.1GHz or higher and stability.

“Slight differences between consumer processors can often lead to varying overclocking results. Many users who are looking to purchase the i9-9900K may be hesitant because their processor might not be able to perform as expected, leading to less powerful overclocking,” said Jackson Hsu, Director of the GIGABYTE Channel Solutions Product Development Division. “To address this concern, GIGABYTE has launched the Z390 AORUS XTREME WATERFORCE 5G Premium Edition Bundle. With this offering, GIGABYTE engineers have already pretested the CPUs, pretuned the BIOS, and paired the high-end processors with the Z390 AORUS XTREME WATERFORCE Motherboard so that when utilizing the motherboard’s excellent efficiency, thermals, stability, and aesthetics, users will be able to easily enjoy high-efficiency overclocking with all cores at 5.1GHz or higher, and experience the superb quality of motherboards.”

Z390 AORUS XTREME WATERFORCE 5G Premium Edition Bundle is now available on the market. GIGABYTE will continue to team up with Intel to develop advanced product solutions.

Editor: we just checked and sought to find pricing and cannot find this kit anywhere on the globe despite Gigabyte claiming that it is available. Earlier on the mobo alone was a 999 Eur/USD and since a non-binned 9900K also is 549,- you might be looking at something 1749 USD/ EUR for a kit like this. Also, I like to say, with merely a good LCS kit you can easily achieve roughly 5 GHz yourself on these procs, ... hey ... just sayin'.
