The latest information on RTX 4070 is that this model is feature 12GB GDDR6X memory across 192-bit memory bus. This is the same memory configuration as RTX 4070 Ti.

GIGABYTE's website's game bundle information page mentioned three different SKUs - RTX 4070 10 GB, RTX 4070 12 GB, and RTX 4070 16 GB. However, this information may not be the final product list, as it still includes the cancelled RTX 4080 12 GB model. The latest news suggests that the RTX 4070 will have a 12 GB GDDR6X memory configuration with a 192-bit memory bus, similar to the RTX 4070 Ti. NVIDIA may release multiple variants based on the board, and GIGABYTE's information may refer to some of these dropped variants.

The exact segmentation of the three SKUs is unclear, and it is uncertain whether NVIDIA will limit the difference to memory size and bus width or whether it will also alter the core configuration and possibly even base one of the SKUs on a physically smaller silicon, such as the AD106. The "RTX 4070" was initially rumored to be a single SKU based on the AD104, with 5,888 out of 7,680 CUDA cores enabled.
