Gigabyte Releases XTREME GAMING Series Power Supply

Gigabyte announced the release of XP1200M, the first PC power supply (PSU) from its premium XTREME GAMING series. The new XP1200M brings up to 1200 Watts of 80 PLUS® Platinum efficient power in silence, as well as modular cable management and enhanced durability to gaming enthusiasts, especially targeting those with high-performance, multiple-GPU builds for next-generation gaming and VR applications.

80 PLUS® Platinum certified, the XP1200M delivers superior electrical performance up to 92% energy efficiency, ensuring power waste is kept at a minimum, while producing less heat and less fan noise for a cool and quiet gaming environment. With the support of Haswell Intel processors, the power supply saves more energy, translating to lower operating cost.

  • Fully modular design
  • High quality 100% Japanese capacitors
  • 140mm smart control fan
  • 80 Plus Platinum certified
  • Single +12V rail
  • Supports NVIDIA SLI / AMD CROSSFIRE

Using 100% Japanese capacitors and premium internal components throughout the design, the XP1200M provides gamers with extended product reliability and lifespan. The single +12V rail ensures the best power output with stability for the hardware, making this power supply ideal for overclocking. The XP1200M’s 140mm temperature-controlled fan is automatically adjusted according to the actual power usage, giving gamers a near silent operation under light and medium loads. The fan uses an ultra-durable double ball bearing design, which offers prolonged product life over 50,000 hours.

The XP1200M makes installation clean and tidy with its fully modular cable management as gamers only need to mount cables that their systems require. The fully modular connectivity with flat black cables reduces frustrating cable clutters and ultimately improves thermal performance within the PC case due to increased airflow. For gamers demanding a reliable power to drive their multi-GPU systems, the NVIDIA® SLI™ and AMD® Crossfire™ ready XP1200M is stringently tested to guarantee maximum stability combined with ample power and connectors for those with serious gaming needs.
