Gigabyte releases UD Pro series SATA3 SSDs

The Gigabyte released their UD PRO series SSDs based on TLC NAND flash. These are regular 2.5" SSDs based on the SATA3 interface.



The NAND type is TLC, and the capacity is 256GB, 512GB, 1TB, thus three models are available. At this point, no sales announcement has been made for this product in the domestic market, but we aim for a release next month.

Transfer speed is 550MB / sec for sequential reading, 530MB / sec for writing, 98,000 IOPS for random reading (97,000 IOPS for 512GB model), 89,000 IOPS for writing, and DRAM cache is 256MB. Functions inclide TRIM, SMART, etc., and "SSD Tool Box" that prepares drive status, Secure Erase, and optimization is prepared.

Endurance is 750TBW for 1TB model, 370TBW for 512GB, 175TBW for 256GB, MTBF is 1.6 million hours, and product warranty is 5 years. The main body size is width 69.85 mm, depth 100 mm, height 7 mm, and power consumption is 2,100 mW when reading, 2,000 mW when writing, and 100 mW when idle.
