Gigabyte Releases New GeForce GTX 1070 Ti WindForce 2X

Gigabyte has added a new SKU to its lineup, the GeForce GTX 1070 Ti based on a dual-fan WindForce 2X cooler, it is a rather lengthy graphics card from the looks of it.

The core clock frequency based on the default "Gaming mode" is that fixed 1,607 MHz with a boost clock of 1,683MHz, when in "Software OC mode", which requires OC Guru software to be active, you can get a small bump upwards in clock frequency towards 1,632 MHz and 1,721 MHz (boost). The memory clock remains default at 8,008MHz, with a 256bit wide memory bus and memory at GDDR5 8GB.

The output interface shows DualLink DVI-D×1, HDMI×1, DisplayPort×3. One 8pin×1 power header is present. The unit can be spotted under SKU code GV -N107TWF2-8GD.

i wouldnt really recommend gigabyte cards.
had a few gtx700/900/1000 (myself/used in builds) and the heatsink
is lighter and cheaper than what is used by many other brands or even the extreme edition.

others like to use the same heatsink for all cards (maybe drop a heat pipe or two depending on chip) and use different fans etc to have a lower priced card.

no matter the fan size, so far not one of them was "silent" or at least on the lvl of other brands i used (in same price range).

the windforce cooler seems to be identical with some of the pny/palit/inno cards.
