Something is wrong with this announcement, doubt that Gigabyte will use the exact same name for a WHQD model.
G32QC and G32QC A where released some time ago and are both QHD : 2560x1440.
G32QC - 2020 - 94% DCI-P3 / 124% sRGB - 75W(Max)
G32QC A - 2021 - 93% DCI-P3 / 121% sRGB - 78W(Max)
Also old news, but I guess better with some old news than no news

I bought a G32QC some time ago, had to RMA it after a month since it wouldn't turn on, power supply was fine so something was up with the monitors power board.
Didn't run into any issues with the replacement G32QC.
Huge difference between the G32QC's HDR 400 and Samsung's C32G75T's HDR 600, actually enjoying playing with Windows 11 HDR / Auto HDR on the latter.
Didn't notice a huge difference between Phillips Momentum's HDR 1000 and the G32QC's HDR 400, probably because it doesn't stay that bright for more than some seconds, makes one wonder how good VESA's certification requirements are.
But you are right, it's still not the same as what a propper HDR10 TV can do.

So the FRC to effectively get 10 bit colour is what causes noticeable flickering in LCDs which don't use PWM? I heard that before but never read anything that confirmed it.
And yeah, HDR400 is pretty worthless considering it can't really display HDR content.
