GIGABYTE Preps EAGLE Graphics Card Series, and is listing the Radeon RX 5600 XT 6GB
With the Radeon RX 5500 and 5700 on its way, it's time for a 5800 and of course, the 5600. I already made mentioned the need for an RX 5600 series graphics cards in our recent 5500 reviews. Well, it looks like that is happening as the card series popped up in a listing from Gigabyte.
Gigabyte is mainly known for its standard Gigabyte, Windforce and Aorus line of products. new will be the EAGLE series. it is once again a listing in the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) database that shows the company releasing RX 5700 XT, RX 5700, RX 5500 XT, and the yet to be announced RX 5600 XT, which will get 6 GB of memory by the way as you can see from that GV-R56XT-6GD-B extension suffix.
Interesting to see from the listing is that the EAGLE branding will also be positioning NVIDIA GTX and RTX graphics card, the listing as originally posted by Twitter user Komachi on you guessed it .. twitter, shows 1650, 1660 and 2060, 2070 and 2080 products all with that EAGLE branding.
We'll be following and watching this like an Eagle.

Considering where they could fit this, 1660Ti level of performance for 280$ sounds reasonable. Oh wait, 1660 Super exists...

I am expecting the rx5600xt to sit between the 1060 super and the regular 2060 with a higher power draw and a price tag around $269
Edit: however if it can bump heads with the 2060 Super for around $299 then it will be a hit!

After seeing the benchmark results of the 5500XT 8GB in some titles like The new Starwars game where the card was only 2fps faster than an RX580 and the 590 outperforms it by a wider margin. I have seen benchmarks where a 1660 non super out performed the bloody thing some titles. I hope the 5600XT outperforms the RX 580 and 590 and along the way is close to 1660 super performance at a minimum then hopefully we will have something to talk about.
