Gigabyte Outs Thunderbolt 4 expansion card for Intel 500 series

This new expansion card allows you to add a 2-port Thunderbolt 4 to a motherboard that uses the Intel 500 series chipset.



The controller is Intel JHL8540, and 5 devices for each port and up to 10 devices can be daisy-chained. It also supports PD 3.0 Power Delivery, which can supply up to 97W. The  bus interface is PCI-Express3.0 (x4), the external interface is Thunderbolt 4 x 2 (USB3.2 Gen.2 Type-C compatible), miniDisplayPort input x2, DisplayPort x1. The OS supports Windows 10 64bit 20H2 or later, and the compatible motherboards are as follows
