GIGABYTE offers a 15.6-inch Ryzen 7 5800H gaming notebook PC for under 1139 USD

A 15-inch gaming laptop PC A5 with an 8-core / 16-thread Ryzen 7 5800H CPU and GeForce RTX 3060 Laptop GPU was launched by Gigabyte under SKU K1-BJP2150SB.

The LCD panel supports a high-speed refresh rate of 240Hz, enabling smooth expression of fast-moving games. Additionally, it supports up to four screen outputs, including HDMI2.0x1, miniDisplayPort1.4x1, and DisplayPort1.4 over USB-C (USB3.2 Gen.2 Type-C) x1.

The primary specifications include 16GB of DDR4-2666 memory (8GBx2), a 1TB NVMe M.2 SSD for storage, and an M.2 extension slot (compatible with both NVMe and SATA). The network is equipped with a 2.5 gigabit LAN, Wi-Fi 6, and Bluetooth 5.2. The lithium-ion battery has a capacity of 48.96Whr, while the AC adapter has a 230W rating. External measurements are 361 mm in width, 258 mm in depth, and 29 mm in height, with a weight of 2.12 kg. The operating system comes pre-installed with Windows 11 Home.

Shame it's Gigabyte, who I have sorely fallen out of favor with.

Thankfully I've never personally have been burned by them, but just too many bad stories have cropped up about them, including silently swapping out cheaper parts with their motherboards, and revisions out the wahoo...

Personally ive had several motherboards/graphic-cards by them and none have had any issues (not yet anyway) Currently on the B550M DS3H mobo and RTX 3060 12 GB since july, no issues whatsoever

In any case, taking at look at Gigabyte's current offerings, as well as comparable offerings from other brands and manufacturers, just a little under $1,200 with the latest parts and technologies is extremely optimistic.

Call it sour grapes, since I literally just bought a refurbished laptop for a similar price, unless it's because it has an AMD processor (which is just a valid, if not more so than Intel) a lot of these numbers don't really add up, and I'm guessing retailers are probably going to pad the price, if not raised by Gigabyte at the last second.
