Gigabyte has produced a Mini-ITX GeForce GTX 970 Graphics Card, yeah it's cute alright. You soon will be able to find it under SKU code GV-N970IXOC-4GD. The card is running at 1076 MHz Base with a Boost clock of 1216 MHz, which is actually a notch faster then the reference cards. The card has a single 8-pin PCI-Express power connector.

The cooler on the card hints towards the WindForce 3X design but obviously just has one fan opposed to three. It comes with a "Triangle Cool" design to guide the air for more effective cooling. Heat is transferred to this fin array through two 8 mm heatpipes and one 5 mm heatpipe.

The card runs at roughly 62 degrees C while running the Metro Last Night benchmark, not bad really. Though the card is still a dual-slot solution it is narrower than other high-performance Mini-ITX graphics card solutions that we've seen in the past. Gigabyte's card is only 12 cm in length. Monitor outputs are the same as the larger 900-series card from Gigabyte, consisting of two DVI ports, three DisplayPort interfaces, and an HDMI port.

Gigabyte has priced the card at $329.99, which is Nvidia's reference MSRP pricing. Mighty interesting !
