Gigabyte makes fun of

Oops? Taiwan founded Gigabyte published a post on its official blog in which it mocked other component manufacturers for having their products 'made in China' implying that for this reason, they were of more let's say 'detrimental quality'.

That blog post was removed shortly after a small storm of critique presented itself, media website Bloomberg detailed what happened and noted that after this attempt to foul the competition

Some of the major Chinese e-shops such as JD and Suning removed the entire Gigabyte catalog from their stores, as well as the search for “Jijia” (Chinese name of the company) from their sites. Of course, this only accentuated the problem for the manufacturer.  Gigabyte's shares fell sharply by 10%, which translated into an approximate loss of $ 550 million market capitalization.

“A few days ago, part of the content of the text published on our official website was seriously inconsistent with the event. It is due to poor internal management of the company. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused ”, apologized Gigabyte after what happened, although the bad image will take longer to eliminate.
